Day 32, Ramiro: Today Was Hard

Today was hard. We bought new resistance bands and a new jump rope and both items seem to be a lot more intense than the previous ones we've had. I broke the cheap Wal-mart resistance band at the hardest level which is what led to its replacement. It used to be I could get through most of the exercises without a problem, but today's sets stopped me cold. I'm anticipating a harder time on this project than expected. I'm glad I'm doing it with Nathaly.

  1. Good news! Hard is good. Easy is wasting time.

  2. Higher level of difficulty, oh yeah! I gotta say, I've had to go down a tension band strength for the shoulder exercises these last few days. With the multiple exercises per muscle group, I get just as much burn with the lighter tension--maybe that's part of what's making the new stuff seem so hard? You guys are so lucky to be doing it together--keep pushing each other hard.

  3. Yep, hard is good. It sucks, but soon you'll get used to everything being hard and then you can amaze yourself by doing it anyway.

  4. Yeah -- it's amazing two products marketed as fairly identical can offer such a different experience! we're doing what we can with the "easy" one and hopefully moving up sometime soon! thanks all (nat)
